How to Mute AI responses?

In this article, we’ll guide you on how to mute AI persona responses for uninterrupted practice on the Brevity platform. This feature is particularly useful while practicing presentations or when you need to speak for extended periods without interruptions.

Muting AI persona response setting is available for None support mode, at the Assignment level and can be accessed while creating or editing assignment settings.

Click on create assignment or edit assignment for the Assignment Builder pop-up.

To enable the feature, toggle on Mute icon.

Click Save to make the changes effective for the practice.

The assignment with Mute A.I responses now has option to mute the Persona in practice.

We can mute the AI responses at any point in the conversation, whether at the beginning (as shown in the image below) or in the middle, when you need to provide an uninterrupted, extended response.

We need to unmute the AI if we wish to receive a response to your input.

Click on the mute button at the center of the Persona and click on the red mute icon to unmute again.
