Folders in Brevity help users organize various assets such as Assignments, Courses, Contexts, Personas, and Topics efficiently. This guide aims to help you maximize your use of Folders in Brevity, ensuring a structured and efficient management of all your training assets
Creating Folders:
Users can create unique folders for different assets or use a common folder for all assets. For example, arrange:
-
- All assets by difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard).
- Contexts by sales process steps.
- Personas by title/role.
- Courses by difficulty level.
To create a Folder, click on the '+' sign across the Folders heading
In the Create Folder builder, you have the option to specify the name of the folder and designate additional locations for it. To include the folder in all list views, simply click 'Select All'.
Users can set folders as private during creation or editing. Folders created by Members remain private, indicated by a lock icon.
Adding Assets to Folders:
- Add assets by clicking the Actions button (⋮) > 'Add to Folder', or by dragging and dropping into the desired Folder. Assets can belong to multiple folders as needed, visible in the list view column.
- You can add multiple items by selecting them, clicking on 'Bulk Actions', and choosing 'Add to Folder' from the menu.
Viewing and Editing Folders:
- View folder contents by selecting the Folder. Deselect by clicking again.
- To remove items from a Folder, click on Actions button and select 'Remove from Folder'

Folders help you organize assets in clusters that makes most sense to you.
