In this article, we’ll guide you on how to navigate through the platform and the basic terminology to guide the process.
Your Brevity account interface is split into two sections: the sidebar and the view page.
-
- Brevity Win's expandable sidebar is your navigation system.
- If you are an Admin: The sidebar contains 5 sections, Home, Assignments, Courses, Curriculum and Repository
-
- If you are a Member: The sidebar contains 3 sections, Home, Assignments and Courses
- Home: Here, you will be able to see all Onboarding steps and Analytics, your team's practice data. The main KPIs include Conversations, Wins, Average Score, Engagement, and Goal Completion.
- Course: A Course serves as a tailored instructional session designed around the strategic goals of the company or to enhance competency areas. A Course is utilized to generate Assignments, which in turn serve as role-play exercises for teams. You can create, edit, archive and delete courses under Courses section in the side navigation bar. A Course creation involves 3 main components: What you're talking about, Context, Who you are talking to, Persona, and finally the objections & Statements and objections, Topics. (See: How do I create / edit a Course?)
-
- Context: A Context is a role-play scenario which establishes the situation and the goal of the conversation between the user and the artificial intelligence persona. Contexts form the mandatory part of a Course and all created Contexts are stored under the Repository. Thus a Context can be created/edited in two ways: while creating a course and in the repository. (See: How to Create / Edit a Context)
-
- Persona: A Persona is a role-play character the user interacts in practice. Creating a Persona is not a mandatory part of a Course but it will help you customize the Artificial Intelligence to closely resemble real life customers or clients for training. All created Personas are stored under the Repository. Thus a Persona can be created/edited in two ways while creating a course and in the repository (See: How do I create / edit a Persona?)
-
- Topic: A Topic is a role-play conversation subject the user interacts in practice. Creating a Topic is not a mandatory part of a Course but it will help you customize the Artificial Intelligence to have conversations similar to topics with real life customers or clients. All created Topics are stored under the Repository. Thus a Topic can be created/edited in two ways: while creating a course and in the repository (See: How to create / edit a Topic?)
- Assignment: An Assignment is created with one Course and is assigned to members to practice role-play. You can create, edit, archive and delete Assignments under Assignments section in the side navigation bar. Both the admin and members can create Assignments but members won’t be able to delete the Assignments created and assigned by the admin. (See: How do I create / edit an Assignment?)
- Repository: Repository stores all data in Brevity, including Contexts, Personas and Topics along with Knowledgebase, Files and Vocabulary.
