An Assignment is created with one Course and is assigned to members to practice role-play.
You can create, edit, archive and delete Assignments under Assignments section in the side navigation bar. Both the admin and members can create Assignments but members won’t be able to delete the Assignments created and assigned by the admin.
To create an Assignment, simply click the “Create Assignment” button, directing you to the Assignment builder pop-up.
To successfully create an Assignment, you have to select
1. The Course: to be contained in the Assignment
2. Assignees: the members who will be practicing the Assignment
3. Support: the support available for all members during practice
4. Goal: target goal in terms of the number of Conversations/ Minutes/ Wins per day/ week/ month
Using Brevity, you can provide support to the user during practice. There are three different supports available
1. Scripts- a scripted practice where you can follow along a pre-existing scripted role-play
2. Hints- clues available for you in between the conversation steering them towards a Win
3. None- no support. This will turn off all kinds of support for the you including scripts, hints and even milestones during practice.
An Assignment goal in Brevity will help the Admin gauge the performance of each assignee in the Assignment. A goal has 3 parts:
1. Rep: a number
2. Metric: this could be Conversations, Minutes or Wins.
3. Frequency: Day, Week or Month
For example: an Assignment with a goal of 5 Conversation / Day would mean that all assignees need to complete 5 Conversations in one day to complete the assignment goal. While another assignment with a goal 5 Wins / day would mean that all assignees need to complete 5 Wins in their conversation for the assignment goal to be complete.
An Assignment can have more than one goal. To add more goals click on "+" and define Rep, Metric and Frequency
After customizing the Assignment, you can click "Create" button to complete the task.
To edit an existing assignment, click on 'actions' to reveal a dropdown menu, then select 'Edit' to access the pop-up where you can edit Name, Course, Assignees, Support and Goal.
